Maureen  Cooke, Ray Cooke & David Bagley, Chef Fish Bowl Restaurant - Our Story



We live on a beautiful Island surrounded by water and we felt that this community needed a specialty fish restaurant . . . we had felt that need for a very long time, so, in October 2001, we opened our doors in this building with a smaller version of what you see today.

As we saw an increase in demand, we renovated the rest of the building to accomodate more customers, taking over the entire building for restaurant use.

Ray and I were the co-founders back then and worked every day together with all aspects of the business.

Sadly, Ray passed away in October 2005, but I'm still working every day and enjoying it tremendously.

We were granted an Award of Distinction 2006 from TopRestaurants.com who represent restaurants in the major cities across the Canada and the USA..

We have created a menu based on fresh ingredients from the land and sea and we hope that you will be happy with all your meals with us.
